Applying to UTEP

Most college-level courses with a grade of C or better taken at an accredited post-secondary institution in the United States will transfer to UTEP. Up to 66 hours can be transferred from a community college, and up to 90 from a four-year institution. Official transcript evaluations will be completed after you’ve applied to UTEP and submitted your official transcripts. An enrollment counselor will be able to assist you with additional information.

Being an online student

You don’t have to be a computer programmer or a web designer to succeed in a UTEP Connect program; however, comfort with technology is helpful. At the very least, you should have regular access to a computer with a high-speed internet connection. You should also be familiar with basic word processing, presentation, and communication software needed for students.

Paying for classes

Yes, online students are eligible for financial aid as long as they have met the criteria. For more information, please visit the Financial Aid website or call one of our UTEP Connect enrollment counselors.
